Forgive the Potato tinted window sun spot picture...but wtf are we looking at? From a quick google search it looks like an old concept solstice? But not like anything else i had ever seen. It had plates and was driving in Las Vegas. I don't anything else about it?

My guess is it's modified Saturn Sky.

Google search 'EDAG Solstice Hardtop', and you'll get all the answers you want.

It wasn't just a concept, they actually made a few...

That is unique, it was a real thing.

Possibly a limited production, owned by a Gm exec or something?

At first, I was going to post, "Yeah, solstice coupe... they're not all convertibles, you know..."
But that is different. Much taller and longer roofline. So I googleed "solstice wagon" and I was not disappointed.

Def Solstice. Whether its some rich guy who bought the concept and somehow legalized it or had it custom built to replicate it, no clue.

One of the rarest cars in existence. A pontiac solstice coupe, there were only 1200 made.

More than likely, it's an aftermarket hardtop designed after the SEMA Soltice Wagon concept.

That's the wagon, not the coupe. I would do terrible things for the Coupe.

EDAG engineering made a kit for them. Google Solstice shooting brake.

I think at the time it was about a $2,500 kit.

There's a solstice coupe around where I live, I've seen it numerous times in the past few years, and that's when I found out how rare they were. I really wish they did it with the sky, because personally I like the sky's styling more.

But the rear of the coupe looks like this...

I don't even think it's that. Way more shooting-brakey.

Wow, I really like that. They didn't made a street version though, correct?

Are you sure? I believe the actual coupe was a lot less wagon-like and more like a sports car... The back hatch was far less vertical and had a weird oval shaped glass on the window. This looks more like a custom shooting brake job on a convertible?

nahh, just the drift car. i cant remember the story on how it came to be though, but i remember he had a convertible sky the year before, so i assume it was just modified instead of modifying a solstice
